Gowa (22/12) As the semester comes to an end, the Accounting Department of UIN Alauddin Makassar organized an socialization about MBKM for the fifth-semester students. This socialization was hold on Friday, December 22th, 2023, at the Auditorium of FEBI UIN Alaauddin Makaasar and was attended by lecturers, staffs, and students from the class of 2021. The purpose of this socialization was to share information and motivate UIN students to participate in the MBKM program for the 6th Semester in the academic year of 2023/2024. This MBKM socialization was facilitated by Ms. Raodahtul Jannah, S.Pd., M.Ak.
According to Dr. Mustakim Muchlis, SE.,M.Si.,Ak.,CA, students need to know which MBKM program they want to undertake. If they plan to engage in an internship or take courses at other universities, students should start looking for desired internship placements and universities that offer similar curriculum to the accounting program. This is part of the program that students who will participate in the MBKM program next year will have to follow.
Dr. Lince Bulutoding SE.,M.Si.,Ak.,CA explained that there are five MBKM programs offered by the accounting department, including:
1. LPDP students studying elsewhere
2. Online courses with accounting program partners
3. Internship programs in collaboration with LP2M UINAM for 6 months, focusing on nine (9) Kemenag themes
4. Undertaking the department's sitting by choosing concentrations applicable in the accounting department
5. Internship without LP2M partnership
Students participating in MBKM can choose from these five programs for the upcoming semester. They need to inform the department about the program they choose to undertake, so that cooperation agrerment can be established to carry out the MBKM for 6 months. Students are expected to inform the department by February 2024.
Furthermore, during the socialization, Dr. M. Wahyuddin Abdullah, SE.,M.Si.,Ak., explained the benefits of participating in the MBKM program. Students can prepare the requirements needed for the MBKM program they are interested in. This presents a good opportunity for students to enhance their competencies, both in soft skills and hard skills, and gain valuable experience from participating in the MBKM program. Additionally, students will receive credit conversions for the SKS (Credit System) from the MBKM program they complete, ranging from 20 to 40 SKS.
The MBKM socialization aimed to ensure that accounting students from the class of 2021 are prepared and have arranged placements to undertake the MBKM program in compliance with university regulations and recognition
